New York – November 14, 2019 – ReKTGlobal, the global esports business authority and parent company of professional esports organization Rogue, expands its team of celebrity investors with the addition of NFL All-Pro safety Landon Collins of the Washington Redskins. Collins joins ReKTGlobal’s powerhouse team of existing investors, including the Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert, EDM sensations Steve Aoki and DJ Nicky Romero, the Billboard Award-winning Imagine Dragons, and renowned Latin music producer Tainy.

“Landon is a passionate gamer who can go head to head against esports pros and beat them.”, beamed Amish Shah, Founder and Chairman of ReKTGlobal. “A legend on and off the field, Collins is a great fit to add to our all-star list of investors. We are thrilled to welcome him to our organization and growing family.”

Landon Collins, a 2015 second-round draft pick, three-time Pro Bowler, and first-team All-Pro, is a strong safety for the Washington Redskins who also is a four-time Defensive Player of the Week. With a career- high of 55 tackles this year alone, 39 of which have been solo, Collins has a long history of being personally invested in gaming and esports. Known for playing video games to connect with his fellow players and to wind down while off the field, Collins was one of eight recipients of Adidas and Activision Publishing’s exclusive Squadron Pack kits, which included an advanced copy of Call of Duty: World War II and a custom Adidas x Call of Duty branded PlayStation 4. As the newest investor within the esports conglomerate ReKTGlobal, he will support the growth and continued global expansion of the organization and Rogue, through strategic integrations and partnerships during the NFL’s offseason.

“Esports is one of the most lucrative industries right now and its future is bright,” commented Collins. “As a professional athlete and a passionate gamer, I understand and appreciate what ReKTGlobal is doing to further connect the worlds of traditional sports and esports. I love competition and the competitive nature of the gaming industry and I’m excited to enter a new realm of competition through my investment with ReKTGlobal and Rogue.”

Founded in 2016, the New York-based ReKTGlobal esports organization bridges the gap between the multi- billion-dollar business of traditional sports and the burgeoning business of esports and competitive gaming. ReKTGlobal is parent company to Rogue, which has expanded its reach with global presence in several of the world’s most popular video games including Fortnite, FIFA and League of Legends. Adding to their ownership of global esports powerhouse Rogue, ReKTGlobal recently announced their Call of Duty London franchise team, the Royal Ravens, closed a multi-year deal with TIME’s Most Influential DrLupo, and welcomed Michael “ODEE” O’Dell to the global esports organization as Chief Gaming Officer. ReKTGlobal also acquired both Fullcube, the leading platform and playbook provider of fan-based Insider programs, and Greenlit Content, a hybrid company behind some of gaming’s most popular editorial sites and viral branded gaming content, events and activations in collaboration with brands like Xbox, HyperX, Epic Games, Activision Blizzard and Warner Bros.
